Nangola Obleton was born on May 13, 1970 in Oakland California. Nangola Obleton attended Oakland Unified District Washington elementary, he was awarded first place at OUSD MLK Oratorical Festival. In the 6th grade, Carter Middle School, Oakland Technical High School. He graduated high school at Hallie Turner Private school, then went to Alameda College which he graduated with an AA Degree in Accounting and Business Administration.

Nangola was a Sunni Muslim. Nangola is a Swahilli name, it means The link of Contact, which is why thoses closet to him called him Link. Nangola was a great family man and loving father. He had two children with Tieshea Davis.

Nangola was a man who was deeply involved in Entrepreneur in Fashion for the majority of his life. He worked for the Bay Area Refinery as a safety technician for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, music, and fine dining. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind person with a heart of gold. He will be truly be missed.

Nangola Obleton is survived by his mother and father Irma Watson (Obleton), Horace Obleton and step mother Sarah Ann Obleton of Columbus GA. Nangola Obleton and 2 children Miss Ivory (14 yrs. Old), Mical Price (20 yrs. Old), and their mother, Tieshea Davis, 1 sister and 3 brothers, Sharonda Obleton, Kendrick Obleton, Kenyetta Obleton Sr, David Kendell. 1 nephew and 2 nieces, Kenyatta Obleton Jr., Kendrea Obleton, Marvis Obleton. A host of uncles and aunts. A host of cousins, relatives and friends. He is proceeded in death by his Grandparents Carol Obleton Sr. and Clara Obleton of Columbus GA., Louis Green and Rosa Green of Columbus GA., Uncle Carol Obleton Sr. of Columbus GA.
