Jimmie Lee Sumbry

     Mr. Jimmie Lee Sumbry Sr. was born on August 19, 1941, in Russell County,

Alabama, to the late Mr. Cephus Sumbry Sr. and Mrs. Eva Davis Sumbry Howard.

     He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Mrs. Lillian Sumbry Jordan and

Mrs. Rhodie Grant, and his brothers, Cephus Sumbry Jr. and David Sumbry Sr.

     Mr. Sumbry accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at Greater

Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He devoted 30 years of faithful service to Columbus Bank &

trust, from which he later retired.

     Mr. Sumbry leaves to cherish his loving memory his sons, Darrell Sumbry,

Anthony Sumbry, Jimmie Sumbry Jr., and Reginald Sumbry, all of Columbus, GA, along

with a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their

hearts.

     Though he has departed this earthly life, his love, legacy, and cherished

memories will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
