Mr. Ebenezer Wright Jr. was born on December 6, 1946 in Columbus, GA. He was the eldest son of the late Louise Hurt Wright and Ebenezer Wright Sr. Mr.Wright who was fondly known as "Butch" and sometimes "Eb" passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023 at Columbus Hospice.
Ebenezer earlier years were lived in Montgomery, AL, as he would later return to Columbus, GA and attend Spencer High School. Afterwards, he became a long time employee of Camp Concrete where he retired. He had a great passion for cooking, loved to spend time with family and would always without a doubt bring laughter to whatever the occasion.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by Geraldine Marshall Wright (wife) and Rubye Alexander Wright (wife) two brothers; Meldon Wright and Erskine Wright, and four sisters; Betty Buckner, Cheryl Wright, Marie Wright and Brenda Hill.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughter, Regina Williams (Curtis) of Columbus, GA and Untilare Marshall (Herb) of Stone Mountain, GA; three sons, Marcus Alexander (Denise) of Decatur, GA; Cedric Wright of Columbus, GA; and Timothy Smith of Suffolk, VA; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a devoted cousin, Ralph Abercrombie Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
